Project Location: Mikwakhola Rural Municipality, Meringden Rural Municipality and Maiwakhola Rural Municipality of
Taplejung district, Koshi province

Project Description: Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) of the project was done as required by and as per the provisions
of Environment Protection Regulations, 2077. Major tasks performed were preparation and approval of Terms of Reference
(ToR) for IEE study, baseline survey, public hearing and consultations, project affected household/property survey and
compensation planning, preparation and approval of IEE document. The project was completed in November 2021.
